Overview

Vital Health partnered with CODEUP LABS to turn a high-value opportunity into a product their customers could use with confidence.

Challenge

Vital wanted to move beyond streaks and guilt-driven reminders. Its coaching model needed to adapt to real schedules and motivate users with useful context, not noisy notifications.

Goals

  • →Create a clear, useful experience for the people who rely on the product.
  • →Ship a stable foundation that the internal team can continue to evolve.
  • →Measure the launch against meaningful product and performance outcomes.

Our approach

  1. 1

    Discovery

We aligned on the audience, business constraints, success measures, and the smallest valuable release before writing production code.

  2. 2

    Design

We translated the strongest insights into mobile-first flows, tested prototypes, and a reusable interface system.

  3. 3

    Build

The team shipped in short reviewable increments with typed contracts, clear states, and production-quality monitoring.

  4. 4

    Launch

We prepared the content, analytics, deployment, and handover plan together, then supported the team through release.

The solution

  • 01 / DECISIONWe translated the coaching methodology into flexible daily plans, compassionate progress language, and a lightweight check-in loop. Personalization happens through small choices that become more helpful over time.
  • 01 / DECISIONReusable components and clear content structures for future releases.
  • 01 / DECISIONPerformance, accessibility, and analytics included in the acceptance criteria.

Measured outcomes from the delivery period, product analytics, and launch review.

What we learned

The strongest product decisions came from making the most important user action obvious early. That clarity gave the team a focused launch and a better foundation for the next phase.
