We Offer Headless CMS Apps
We pair Sanity.io, a flexible content platform, with a fast Next.js front end. Editors get a clear workspace and live previews. Your site gets updated within moments of publishing, with no developer in the loop.
CodeUp | Headless CMS Services
Content and code, kept apart on purpose.
A traditional CMS ties your content to one theme. A headless one stores content on its own and sends it wherever it is needed.
Sanity Studio
Where your team writes and manages content, in a workspace shaped to your own content types.
Content Lake
Sanity's hosted database for your content, available through a fast API with history for every change.
Next.js front end
Your website or web app, fetching content on the server and rendering fast pages for every visitor.
Marketing edits without developers
Change a headline, add a landing page or publish a post without a ticket or a deploy.
One source, many places
The same content can feed your website, your web app, a mobile app and your emails.
Redesign without migrating
Because content is separate from design, you can rebuild the front end and keep every page of content.
Your content model is code.
In Sanity you describe each content type in a short TypeScript file. That file defines the editing form, the validation rules and the shape of the data.
Pages then ask for exactly the fields they need with GROQ, Sanity's query language, and Next.js renders the result on the server.
- Schemas live in your repository and are reviewed like any other code
- Validation stops incomplete content before it goes live
- TypeScript types can be generated from your schema and queries
import { defineType, defineField } from "sanity"; export const post = defineType({ name: "post", type: "document", fields: [ defineField({ name: "title", type: "string", validation: (rule) => rule.required(), }), defineField({ name: "slug", type: "slug", options: { source: "title" }, }), defineField({ name: "body", type: "array", of: [{ type: "block" }, { type: "image" }], }), ], });
import { defineQuery } from "next-sanity"; import { client } from "@/sanity/client"; const POST_QUERY = defineQuery(` *[_type == "post" && slug.current == $slug][0]{ title, body, "author": author->name }`); export default async function Post({ params }) { const { slug } = await params; const post = await client.fetch(POST_QUERY, { slug }); return <Article post={post} />; }
A workspace people actually like using.
We shape Sanity Studio around your team's real tasks, so the screen shows what they need and hides what they do not.
Live visual editing
Preview the real page while writing, and click an element on it to jump to the field that controls it.
Work together in real time
Several people can edit the same document at once and see each other's changes as they happen.
Rich, structured text
Portable Text keeps articles as clean data, with images, quotes and callouts you define.
Smart image handling
Set a focal point once and images crop sensibly everywhere. Files are served from a fast CDN.
Drafts and history
Work privately in a draft, publish when ready, and roll back to an earlier version if needed.
Roles and permissions
Decide who can write, who can publish and who can only look, so nothing goes live by accident.
Some features, such as advanced roles and content releases, depend on the Sanity plan you choose. We will tell you which one fits.
From Publish to live page in moments.
Pages are fast because they are prepared ahead of time. When content changes, only the affected pages are rebuilt.
An editor publishes
They click Publish in Sanity Studio. The change is saved in the Content Lake.
A webhook fires
Sanity sends a signed message to your Next.js app saying which document changed.
Pages revalidate
Next.js refreshes only the pages that use that content, using on-demand revalidation.
Visitors see it
The next visitor gets the updated page from the CDN, with no full rebuild and no downtime.
Everything between the editor and the visitor.
A headless CMS is powerful. It is not always the simplest choice.
- Your site has many pages, products or posts that change often
- The same content must appear on a website, an app and elsewhere
- You want speed and a design that is not limited by a theme
- Several editors need their own workflow and permissions
- It is a small brochure site that rarely changes
- You have no developer to maintain the front end
- You need a point-and-click page builder with no developer help at all
In those cases a traditional CMS or a site builder may serve you better, and we will say so.
